International Tilting Competition
After a 400-year gap, the ancient art of tilting at the ring was re-introduced to Scotland from Denmark at last year’s  Borders Festival of the Horse.  Since then the Scottish Borders Tilters Association has been set up, and two groups have been in training throughout the winter.  See how they fare against the experienced tilters from Sonderborg in Southern Jutland in a competition the lovely grounds of the Bowhill House in the centre of Selkirk. Come along and see how it’s done, and find out how you too can take part in highly addictive equestrian sport.

Bowhill, Selkirk, TD7 5ET
6.30 pm. Spectators free. Disabled access.
