Alison Rowan, a local Equine Behavioural Consultant, will be on hand to demonstrate an holistic and kind approach to behavioural problems. The session will incorporate discussions using the science of behaviours and learning to understand why horses exhibit some of the behaviours we see in them. This includes observing the horse’s body language to determine whether the behaviour is as a result of pain, fear or tension, or whether it is confident learned behaviour.
There will be videos and hands on demonstrations with ponies provided by us. If you wish to ask any questions or contact Alison beforehand please phone Stable Life.
