The Scottish Borders is renowned for having some of the most varied and beautiful, yet accessible riding country in Britain. Tracks once used by the marauding and pillaging Reivers for stealing cattle, today provide peaceful ways for exploring the rolling countryside of the Borders on horseback.
There are ten guided rides at the 2008 Borders Festival of the Horse and this year’s theme is Reivers and Rustlers, supported by Forestry Commission Scotland.
