The programme of events at this year’s Borders Festival of the Horse offers a 13-day gourmet choice of equestrian activities for riders and spectators. All aspects of equestrianism are covered from “try your hand” events to the BHS Borders Grand Competition Day - the choice is endless!

Your chance to test your car and trailer or lorry driving skills. Guidance from a qualified driving instructor.

open afternoon at equine veterinary practice
Greenside Veterinary Practice, St Boswells TD6 0AJ
2.30 - 4.30pm, entry by charitable donation for Arthurshiel Rescue Centre and Scottish Borders Donkey Sanctuary
A chance to view the facilities of the purpose built equine unit. There will be demonstrations including an acupuncture session.
