Programme of Events 2008

The programme of events at this year’s Borders Festival of the Horse offers an 11-day gourmet choice of equestrian activities for riders and spectators. All aspects of equestrianism are covered from “try your hand” events to the BHS Borders Grand Competition Day - the choice is endless!

Riders of all ages and abilities have the opportunity to learn about the growing sport of BHS TREC. Peelham Farm (Foulden, near Eyemouth) are hosting a training day on Sat 24th May followed by a competition on Sun 25th May. You can download the entry form here.

Art Exhibition “The Horse and the Borders”

McHardy’s Gallery, Biggiesknowe, Peebles EH45. From Innerleithen turn onto Peebles High Street, travel to far end then turn right over the Cuddy Bridge. Gallery is on right hand side.

Borders College Horse Care Students Open Day

An opportunity to see the range of careers and training in horse care offered by Borders College. Staff will be available to offer advice and students will demonstrate practical aspects of their course.
