The programme of events at this year’s Borders Festival of the Horse offers an 11-day gourmet choice of equestrian activities for riders and spectators. All aspects of equestrianism are covered from “try your hand” events to the BHS Borders Grand Competition Day - the choice is endless!
Riders of all ages and abilities have the opportunity to learn about the growing sport of BHS TREC. Peelham Farm (Foulden, near Eyemouth) are hosting a training day on Sat 24th May followed by a competition on Sun 25th May. You can download the entry form here.

The Treefest Partnership in conjunction with the British Horse Loggers Association, Lothian Estates, The Forestry Commission Scotland and the Royal Scottish Forestry Society are proud to present working horses in action pulling timber from the forest as part of a commercial harvesting operation. There will also be a chance to speak to North Northumberland based expert Danny MacNeil.
