The programme of events at this year’s Borders Festival of the Horse offers a 13-day gourmet choice of equestrian activities for riders and spectators. All aspects of equestrianism are covered from “try your hand” events to the BHS Borders Grand Competition Day - the choice is endless!

6.30 - 8.30pm. Everyone welcome. Cars £5, trailers £10 (no lorries). Parking for non-exhibitors on disused railway line. Refreshments available. Booking required.

Quality National Hunt horse racing staged at Britain's friendliest course. Special Festival of the Horse offer: 12.45pm "A Glass of Wine with Gordon Brown", raceday presenter for At the Races. Advance booking essential as places are restricted. Followed by afternoon's racing.

 

First race: 2.30pm, gates open 12.20pm. £4 off an entry when presented with voucher on p19 of the Borders Festival of the Horse 2010 brochure.

NATIVE PONIES IN ACTION

 

6.30pm, entry £5 to go to Grass Sickness Fund. An evening to show the versatility of native ponies. Bring chairs, warm clothing and umbrellas as demonstration will be outside. No booking required.
